Course Overview:

What can one of Judaism’s greatest thinkers teach us about living with greater balance, purpose, and integrity today?

In Shemoneh Perakim (The Eight Chapters), Maimonides, also known as Rambam, offers profound teachings on the soul, character, and spiritual life. Together, we will explore his unique vision of the soul, the development of middot, and the lifelong pursuit of becoming the person we are meant to be.

Each session combines thoughtful text study with meaningful personal practice. Participants will learn to recognize patterns in their own lives, understand Rambam’s “Golden Mean,” and develop practical tools for cultivating healthier habits, greater self-awareness, and intentional living.

Study and Practice:

Participants will engage in:

  • Text study
  • Guided reflection
  • Journaling
  • Exploration of Rambam’s “Golden Mean”
