A Three-Part Course Series:
Developing Self-Awareness Through Mussar

In this course, we will explore how Mussar can guide us to listen carefully, assess a situation, and make choices that reflect our values. We will consider what it means to take responsibility for our actions while honoring the needs and dignity of others.
Bechirah asks: What choice is mine to make? How can I respond with integrity?

Breaking Through Our Own Obstacles Through Mussar
It is one thing to know what matters. It is another to act on it. Zerizut is the Mussar trait that calls us to move forward with energy, discipline, and commitment.
In this course, we will explore the obstacles that can keep us from taking action: hesitation, distraction, fear, inertia, or the feeling that a task is too large to begin. We will consider how zerizut can bring accountability and spiritual intention to the way we carry out our responsibilities.
Zerizut asks: What am I called to do? What will allow me to begin?
